Mr Kucukmetin is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist and Clinical Lead & IGCS International Mentor. Mr Ali Kucukmetin trained as a Gynaecologist in the Wessex deanery in 2004, before moving to Newcastle to complete a higher degree (MD) in ovarian cancer research at Newcastle University.
He qualified as a specialist Gynaecological Oncologist and he was appointed as laparoscopic-lead Consultant in the reputable Northern Gynaecological Oncology Centre, Gateshead in 2010. Mr Kucukmetin has become an internationally renowned expert in his field, following his pioneering laparoscopic operations for the management of gynaecological cancers. He performed the first Total Laparoscopic Radical Trachelectomy procedure in the UK in May 2011. Ali is active in research, leading to good quality publications.

Mr Raza is a Consultant Gynaecologist with extensive experience in laparoscopic surgery (keyhole) and endometriosis. He is an innovator, researcher, and presenter in treating endometriosis, pelvic pain, and fibroids. Mr Raza currently works as a Gynaecologist at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Hospital. He is a passionate expert in laparoscopic surgery and specific interest in excisional surgery for endometriosis. He has vast experience in minimal access surgery and is an accredited endometriosis specialist. Mr Raza leads a multidisciplinary team of colorectal surgeon, urologists and radiologist for complex endometriosis cases. Mr Raza visited national and international centres of laparoscopic surgery and endometriosis to get the best experience in treating such disease. He leads on many laparoscopic training programmes for specialists in UK and around the world. Dr. Arohan Sapkota is a prominent Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who has received international recognition for his medical contributions and humanitarian work. He is currently based in the United Kingdom. Dr. Sapkota practices as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and is a member of one of the most prestigious medical organisations in the world. He has represented India to present his work in various countries, including Japan, Switzerland, and Australia. He is passionate about advocating for better health for women and babies in both developed and developing countries. In pursuit of this, he has organised medical camps in Nepal and plans to do the same in Sikkim and other parts of India. David Iles is a Clinical Lead for Urogynaecology. He is a consultant gynaecologist who practices in the NHS, specifically in the Manchester area within the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. His primary special interest is in Urogynaecology, dealing with complex cases of female urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

Mr Tsepov is an internationally recognised expert gynaecological surgeon performing robotic surgery on DaVinci Xi surgical robot for severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids and complex benign gynaecological pathology. Mr Tsepov works in close partnership with multidisciplinary robotic surgery experts. Mr Tsepov is a certified robotic DaVinci Xi console surgeon by Intuitive Surgical as well as by the British and Irish Association of Robotic Gynaecology Surgeons (BIARGS). He is a robotic surgery proctor for Intuitive Surgical and teaches advanced robotic surgery techniques across UK and Europe. The London Endometriosis & Advance Pelvic Surgery led by Mr Tsepov is an observation centre for robotic surgery and provides regular training courses for surgeons.

Dr Dina El-Hamamsy is a fellowship-trained Consultant Urogynaecologist and Minimally Invasive Surgeon with specialist expertise in robotic pelvic surgery. She completed her PhD at the University of Leicester on Robotic Gynaecological Surgery in NHS England and Staff Experiences in Robotic Theatres, combining national data with qualitative research on robotic theatre dynamics.

She undertook a dedicated Robotic Pelvic Fellowship at the Royal Surrey Hospital and has trained extensively with BIARGS and SERGS, where she currently serves as a council member of the Young European Advocates of Robotic Surgery (YEARS). She is also the founder of MIRGS (Mentorship in Robotic Gynaecological Surgery), a European mentorship programme designed to support safe adoption of robotic surgery.

Dr El-Hamamsy has published widely on robotic outcomes, efficiency, and training, and is a regular invited speaker at international meetings including SERGS, IUGA, ICS, BIARGS, and RCOG. Her clinical and research interests focus on advancing robotic techniques in urogynaecology, with particular expertise in nerve-sparing robotic approaches for complex mesh complication surgery.

I am a consultant Gynaecologist specialising in robotic and laparoscopic treatment of advanced endometriosis at Worcestershire Acute hospitals NHS trust. I am clinical lead for Worcestershire endometriosis and pelvic pain centre.

I am honorary secretary of the BSGE having previously held position as chair for laparoscopic training. I established the BSGE RIGs National Training programme and the Gynaecological response to the acute surgical presentation (GRASP) course.

Prof Felix Chan graduated from the University of New South Wales in 1986 with a Bachelor in Medicine and Surgery. After gaining experience in general medicine, surgery, emergency medicine and paediatrics he developed an interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He received the Gold Medal for MRANZCOG examination in 1990 and was admitted to the Westmead Hospital Integrated Training Program. He was inspired by Prof Alex Crandon and Prof Roger Houghton (professors in gynaecological oncology) and became the first fellow in gynaecological oncology at the hospital. He has a keen interest in developing and applying surgery in this exciting field of medicine. In 1996 he spent his fellowship at King Edward Memorial Hospital, Perth, where he developed a keen interest in defining the role of laparoscopic surgery in gynaecological oncology. He had the opportunity to work with Prof Anthony J McCartney, Prof Ian Hammond, and Prof Yee Leung, and in 1997 he had the pleasure to work with Prof J Shepherd in St Bartholomew\'s Hospital, Royal Marsden and Royal London Hospitals in the UK. He gained proficiency and expertise in gynaecological surgery after attending a master class with D Queuleu, D D’argent (France) and Prof John Monaghan (UK). Prof Chan worked as Director in Gynaecological Oncology at Liverpool Hospital (since 1998), treating women with gynaecological malignancies across the west zone of the Southwest Sydney Area Health Service. Geraldine Gagasa is a distinguished Senior Operating Theatre Nurse with a remarkable 31-year career. Her journey from a skilled practitioner to a leader in surgical training is a testament to her dedication and passion. While her expertise is deeply rooted in the foundational principles of perioperative care, her legacy is most profoundly marked by her pivotal role in navigating the rapid evolution of surgical technology, particularly in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

Throughout her career, Geraldine was drawn to the dynamic, high-stakes environment of the operating theatre, where she quickly established herself as a calm and meticulous presence. As technology began to transform surgical procedures in the early 2000s, she became an early adopter of laparoscopic techniques. This shift ignited her passion for education and mentorship, as she recognized the need to train and support her colleagues.

Geraldine was at the forefront as robotic surgery emerged, actively developing training modules and hands-on workshops. She firmly believes surgical innovation succeeds through the combined expertise of the entire theatre team. She has an inspiring ability to demystify complex robotic platforms and translate technical skills into actionable knowledge, making her an invaluable resource and a respected leader.

Her vision is to foster a culture of lifelong learning, ensuring every theatre staff member can master the skills needed for the future of surgery.

Mr. Misra is a gynaecologist who is currently working in Newcastle-under-Lyme. He qualified from Burden University Medical School in 1994. Having been on the specialist register since 2008, he has gained significant experience within his field. Furthermore, he has worked as a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at the University Hospitals of North Midlands NHS Trust. His medical experience involves the treatment of women who suffer from menstrual disorders, endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and fibroids, alongside those who suffer from problems with fertility. Added to this, he has trained in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery. Mr. Misra is a member of the Medical Defence Union and the British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.

Lyndon Gommersall graduated from Nottingham University Medical School in 1997 and completed his medical doctorate (MD) in prostate cancer in 2006 at the University of Birmingham. He completed his specialist urological training throughout the West Midlands as well as visiting the Berne University Hospital in Switzerland to develop his primary interest in bladder cancer surgery.

He was appointed as a Consultant Urological Surgeon in early 2010 at the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. He is interested in rapid recovery following all aspects of urological surgery. His key interests are in bladder cancer, prostate cancer, bladder and prostate problems , incontinence and andrology including erectile dysfunction. He introduced local anaesthetic bladder botox injections to treat the overactive bladder syndrome and urge urinary incontinence. He is Urology Cancer lead for Staffordshire. He believes passionately in helping patients through the serious and sensitive problems related to his speciality. He has published widely including journals such as Lancet Oncology and Nature Clinical Practice Oncology.

Ms Marielle Nobbenhuis is a gynaecological oncology surgeon. She qualified in medicine from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and continued to train in gynaecology and obstetrics at the Erasmus Medical Centre in Rotterdam. She completed the RCOG-recognised sub-speciality Gynaecological Oncology fellowship at The Royal Marsden in 2009.

Ms Nobbenhuis obtained a PhD (cum laude) grade in research involving the natural history of pre-malignant cervical lesions and infection with human papillomavirus resulting in several peer-reviewed publications and presentations in this field. Her main topics of interest are robotic gynaecological surgery and ovarian cancer. She is a trainer in robotic surgery and involved in national and international robotic societies. She is the past president of the British and Irish Association of Robotic Surgeons, and Vice President of the Society of European Robotic Gynaecological Surgery (SERGS). She is PI of various surgical studies, including robotic.

Accredited as a sub-specialist in gynaecological oncology surgery, and recognised as a Laparoscopic and Robotic gynaecological surgeon, they offer private consultations and surgical services by appointment, accepted by major insurance providers. Nicolas Bourdel is Professor in gynaecological surgery and collaborator of Professor Canis at the University Hospital of Clermont-Ferrand (France) where he specialised in laparoscopic procedures (oncology and deep endometriosis).
He also received a PhD in computer-assisted surgery from the University of Clermont-Ferrand. Professor Bourdel has published numerous articles (more than 170) and made many presentations on minimally invasive surgery. He is one of the co-founder of SurgAR and its CEO since 2019.

Miss Roopa Nair is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 27 years of clinical experience, currently practising at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. She has held a substantive consultant post since November 2011 and is the Clinical Director for Women’s Health Services. She also leads the Urogynaecology service at the Queen’s nationally accredited urogynaecology centre and is the lead for Robotic Gynaecology at BHR. Miss Nair holds multiple academic and professional qualifications, including FRCOG, MD, DNB, DFFP,and an MCh in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery, awarded with Distinction from Anglia Ruskin University. In 2004, she was awarded the MRCOG Gold Medal by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists for attaining the highest national score in the examination. She is currently undertaking an Executive Masters in Medical Leadership from City-St.George’s university, London. Her specialist interests lie in Urogynaecology, minimally invasive and robotic surgery. She offers a comprehensive range of treatments for urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and pelvic organ prolapse, including non-mesh surgical techniques, urethral bulking injections, intravesical Botox therapy, and complex vaginal repairs. She has expertise in the management of recurrent prolapse and perineal birth injuries. Dr Vidya Kasipandian graduated from Madras Medical College, Chennai, India in 2000. She underwent higher specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in the North West Deanery, UK, and received her Dual Accreditation (Dual CCT) in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in 2011. She joined The Christie as a substantive Consultant in Critical Care and Anaesthesia in May 2011 and was the Clinical Lead in Critical Care between 2012 to 2019. In this role, she was responsible for introducing Level 3 care in the Critical Care Unit and contributed to multi-disciplinary collaborative working by establishing weekly MDTs. Dr Kasipandian held the post of the Clinical Director for Critical Care and Inpatient Services between 2019 and 2022. She was appointed Associate Medical Director for Quality and Patient Safety in April 2022. She has successfully lead projects on phase 2 implementation of electronic inpatient noting, new Acute Assessment Unit (AAU) build and mortality mapping process. Dr Kasipandian continues her roles as a Clinical and Educational Supervisor, instructing in Advanced Life Support (ALS) courses since 2011 and having established the National Tracheostomy Safety Project (NTSP) at The Christie site. She is a Principal Investigator for national trials in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and COVID.

Mr. Zeiad El-Gizawy is a Consultant Gynaecologist who provides a wide range of services for women with gynaecological disorders, offering comprehensive consultations and assessments. He collaborates closely with his patients to develop holistic treatment plans. His special interests include managing pelvic pain and endometriosis, and he has extensive training and expertise in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic and robotic surgeries. Additionally, Mr. El-Gizawy is skilled in infertility treatments and reproductive medicine.

Mr. El-Gizawy began his medical career with a Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine and Surgery and completed his specialty training in the West Midlands Deanery. He furthered his expertise in advanced laparoscopic surgery with a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy from Surrey University. He also trained in Robotic Surgery through courses in Strasbourg and Paris. An advocate for medical education, he holds a Diploma in Medical Education from Keele University and conducts teaching sessions for GPs. His contributions to the field include numerous publications in accredited journals and research papers. He is a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is affiliated with the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
